Ok so I have been trying forever to get AC on my Rx7. Even though all Rx7 owners say that AC kills your power because the compressor gives too much drag at high RPM I have come to the point were I dont give a crap right now about Power. I loose 2 years of my life every time I drive that thing in the middle of the afternoon. So here is my plan:
I will fix my AC myself...my dad says I should take it to a shop but I have never trusted anyone at shops with my car. Plus they would have no idea what to do (thats what usually happens if its not a Ford or Chevy).
I also ordered a new shift boot today to eliminate the heat coming from the tranny to the cabin.
Just wanted to post this cause I know we are all having problems with AC or at least Josh, Derek and I. Before next week my car will blow nice and cold and I will probably die cause of all the dust in the vents (Its been like 15 years since that car has had AC). And I will take it off in the Winter ;)
