jejejeje they have never had oil leaks they just burn oil like all rotaries...but yeah all rotaries are unreliable....But my 17 year old 7 is still running. Yeah $ wise it would not be any time soon...Im thinking December is the month for a new car.

Most likely or a huge down payment. But with any Mazda as long as I go to World Car Mazda Im ok cause of my dads friend there. I just really need something new....like now in November I have two drive twice to Oklahoma...cant do that with my cars right now.

Im also looking at the 08 mazdaspeed3(265hp) or the 08 mazda6(275hp) but both FWD :(

08 WRX not STI is not bad either for daily driving...its kind of ok looking but it still does 14.1 in the 1/4 mile and thats not even the Sti

Yeah but the 08 model is not mazdaspeed 6 its just mazda 6 "S" that is a 3.7l v6 not the 4cyl turbo like the mazdaspeed.

Very true but I think I have done a good job holding myself from spending too much money on my 7 and keeping it just mildly modded. But I do understand what you are saying....I'm also trying to get a daily driver to take my 7 to the next level so that could keep me away from spending $ on new car mods.

hahahhaha renee .............. me too. why buy something that looks like its worth 30k? get a toyot yaris, those things are barely 11k and gas mileage wow, u put 10 bucks its filled up and u can go to oklahoma, 4 times.

Also thinking about going that route. Theres two ways that I look at it:

1. why put monthly payments on a boring car? If Im going to pay for something it will be for something I will enjoy.

2. That boring car can help me save money and even though I wont enjoy it as much your right for OK and stuff is way more practical.

So it depends on what mood Im in practical mood or fun mood.

think practical payments you could finance a yaris like 140 a month. RX-8 $300 min. even if your dad knows the guy, crazy payments and insurance on a 2 door sports car not pretty. get a freakin Geo Metro!

We'll see....I've been leaning away from the 8 after doing more research. It handles actually worst than a 2nd gen 7 (my rx7). Read it has the same suspension setup but since its heavier it tens to understeer and oversteer on turns a lot more. The power still bothers me a bit cause its still the same 1.3l non turbo that my 91 has but the only thing that I like is the looks and interior thats nice.

But after doing more research on the Mazdaspeed 3 I have started liking it even more. Yeah the car is FWD and it will never handle like a 7 or the 8 but it has tons of power and still gets 27mpg on the highway. The price is also what I like I have been looking at 07 mazdaspeed 3 for sale for $17k saw them on ebay from dealers for $14k with 30k miles. That beats the 8 price of $30K.
