You still need to learn to be an ebay master. There are techniques so u don't get a last minute blow up on your item. You can never hold people from bidding but u can keep it under your control at all times. If it gets out of hand then its not a deal.
i just watch a bunch of items at teh same time and win the lowest 1...i set a limit to the amount im willing 2 pay including the shipping cost...so if there are 2 items for sale and 1 of them is $42 with a $8 shipping and the other is $48 with free shipping im gna go for that..ive seen alot of people who must not b paying attention 2 that casue they will spend like $55 on gears and then hav $4 shipping added on so its only like $5 cheaper then at the store
