Some kids Boxing

These kids had a tournament going and although it is typical sloppy backyard boxing take a look at the last fight. The guy in the red does exactly what is needed against sloppy amateur guys that just go forward. He keeps is hands up all the time and just throws jabs and straights (through the inside)....no sloppy hammer hooks and they all land.

Just the perfect style for a sam,derek type of fighter.

I don’twant to lose respect for the man and I think I would if Pacquiao startsblabbering left and right with every excuse under the son to explainaway his loss. I can just see him going motor mouth while beinginterviewed.
It will be a terrible sight if he does this. Just accept the loss,Pacquiao, and take your defeat with dignity. I’m okay with the “It justwasn’t my night” excuses, but I can’t stomach when fighters startcrying about injuries, poor training camps or other things that tookplace during the fight. If Pacquiao can’t beat Cotto in the ring, thelast thing I want to hear is a bunch of lame excuses.
A loss to Cotto won’t be such a bad thing. At least Pacquiao knowwhere he’s at in terms of talent. It’s better to know how good you arein reality rather than having a mental image in your head that isn’ttrue. Once Cotton finishes beating the tar out of Pacquiao, his selfimage will be adjusted to the point where he has a more accuratepicture of his true ability – I hope.
If Pacquiao starts with the excuses then that tells me that hehasn’t accepted the loss and is looking for a scapegoat for target toput the blame on. There’s nothing wrong with losing. Pacquiao shouldn’tworry about it when it happens. It’s part of the game and every fighterhas to accept it and not try to explain it away with excuses.

Dont worry I already lost hope on this trip. The enthusiasm is not there plus I know it's a lot of $. For us to do this we need to buy the flight tickets now and no one has said anything. Carlos also said he didnt want to.

hahaha your so through! This is what i like :D I wouldn't mind driving to houston to save $190. If we take a big SUV or soemthing to take all of us there, we can get there on a full tank which would be about $50 in my opinion. Thats another $50 on our drive back, it would have to be a personal car we can take that we can leave at the airport parking. So wed spend $100 just for that trip but it be $20 each between us... about. Im down!!!

We can do Houston for sure but Airport Parking is very expensive, it will be about another $100 for parking which then puts its up at about $40 each which its the same we saved from going to Houston.

Santos calls him a crybaby and then tells him not to disrespect him because he is going to knock his teeth out. U know Santos is a cool guy but one thing I didnt like is that he disrespects the crap out of Cintron and then before Cintron can speak he tells him to not disrespect him because he will knock his teeth out...yeah makes sense but if you disrespect someone expect the same back. Cintron then tells him if they both win their fights that they can fight in PR but its weird cause then Santo's says something about not fighting him....so then why call him out if you are going to back out??? Cintron tells him he is going to knock him out...The boy a knockiar!!! haha probably the only thing he knew how to say in spanish...

Love how Quintana is in there and u see him go like "Ohh Snap Santo's is gonna call him out!"

Ok two things I have notices:

If we set the dates from Saturday the 12th to Tuesday the 15th prices really drop on tickets...but now If I set the trip from Houston instead of San Antonio they drop even more. Maybe we can drive to Houston and fly from there. I have found them to go as low as $190 (taxes included per person) for Houton to Vegas. It might not be worth it since the extra $40 can be spent from SA to houston and figuring out how to get back to SA. So I think $235.00 per person from SA on those dates is not bad.

Ok so after taking a shower and refreshing my mind a little I decided I will add the possibility of driving and prices right here:

To drive we would have to rent a car, we are six so the best thing would be either a large SUV or a minivan. I know the idea of a cargo van was around but as fun as it sounds it wont be too comfortable. The Cargo vans are noisy and bouncy and with six people we need a large couch or two. Let not forget Cargo vans are not great on gas.

After looking I noticed none of us can rent a large SUV cause for some reason no places let 21 year old people rent them. So a mini van would cost $610.00 for one week, it seats 7 comfortable. Add full insurance and it will be $730.00. I know we can borrow a car but again we are 7 and I think it will be better to drive something that we dont care if we wreck, millage and we know it will be reliable.

BTW out of state they charge a dollar per mile.

So total for the car:  $121.67 (per person)

Now I refuse to think we will drive from Boerne to Vegas in one day...it's a long trip and although it's possible I dont trust it. So add $50.00 for a hotel each way so $100.00. Then know we will eat on our drive so add at least $30 for food.

Total: $251.57 (per person) Gas and Miles not counted.

Of course this is more or less but the prices at least on the van are the quotes for the actual dates. I didnt actually expect it to come out this expensive before I was writing this.

So up to you guys.

If I change up the dates a little I can find much cheaper prices...look at this: $237 per person but look at the dates...Not bad...could probably find better if we change dates like that. The dates are Leave Saturday (5:50AM) and return Tuesday to SA.

I talked to my mom about it, she said driving would not be that bad but we would have to add 4 days to the trip and two nights at hotels. She also told me that I should be able to find cheaper airline tickets and our gambling amount could be lowered but I think we still need spending $ and my gambling $ falls as that too.

If I can spend $450.00 on a weekend to the coast I think $800.00 sounds about right with airplane tickets to Vegas.

Vegas

Ok so I know we have been talking about Vegas for ever now. Well I decided to put some prices down and maybe some dates to see if we can turn that talk to action.

Now after thinking about it I think the best thing is to go to Vegas for just a weekend. Vegas is not a country were we need to see for a week, Vegas takes an hour to walk.

Now the biggest thing is how to get there. I know u guys still want to drive but I think the best thing is to save your money and we all fly...its safer, faster and we dont have to worry about driving back home which really sucks.

Now the date:

I think the perfect thing is to leave the 11th (Morning/Friday) of December and get back the 14th (Afternoon/Monday). I already looked at the Vista and UTSA schedules and you college kids are good...You will finish Final exams to get on a plane to Vegas. This is perfect because...I will put the itinerary for us here at the bottom.

Monday Morning:
-Leave SA
Monday Afternoon:
-Arrive at Vegas take a Taxi to the Hotel
-Get our room and leave everything there.
-Walk around the strip
Monday night:
-Eat
-Take it easy look at the pretty lights at night and save your $ cause it's about to get CRAZY!
Monday Midnight:
-PARTY!!!! Josh's BDAY!!! Wohoo!
Saturday Morning:
-Sleep
-Get Brunch
Saturday Afternoon:
-GAMBLE!!!!
Saturday Night:
-Watch the Pirates (Free show)or something
-Walk Around
Saturday Midnight:
-Maybe PARTY!!! I dont know it's up to the group on this time...I will be drunk all weekend so I dont care. Or we can just hang out and sleep.
Sunday Morning:
-Eat Hotel Buffet
Sunday Afternoon:
-Go Shopping or walk around the big Vegas strip mall if you are broke already.
Sunday Night:
-PARTY!!! or we can GAMBLE!!!
Sunday Midnight:
-The same as above
Monday Morning:
-Clean up our stuff
Monday Afternoon:
-Get on a plane back to Texas.

If this doesnt sound fun to you then no point in going to Vegas cause that's what Vegas is, the guys and I need a date to go find Mayweather and take a picture with him. We can change the itinerary at any time, specially we set this for sure we can start looking around for cheap things to do befora we go.

Now you saw the fun stuff....here is the damage:

I can lock a price on airplane tickets at $284.00 thats the final price. The way things have been lately I dont know if tickets will get more expensive or cheaper as the date gets here since sometimes they drop specials. I personally dont think they will get cheaper cause I found some today at $230.00 and there were only 2 tickets left at that price. I will continue to look though but know that the average will be $300 per person.

Now the hotel is were we get to breath a little. Its really up to you guys if you want to stay at a very cool hotel or at the cheapest. They are all in the strip and all have Casino's which it doesnt matter cause we can just roam around for those.

At this moment I can get a room at Fri:$42 Sat:$42 Sun:$21...this is Circus Circus which is one of the cheapest at the strip but still at the strip (some cheaper but away from the strip...not fun without a car). This is for two queen beds. I think we should just get one room and some can sleep in the floor or something. Ok so $105 for the entire weekend at the hotel...we can upgrade that or even change hotel if we want something nicer....this we can talk about once we are possitive we are going.

Ok so what do we have:

Air: $300 (per person)
Room: $17.50 (per person)
Food and Drinks: $200 (per person) This is just a random # cause I was thinking we should keep outside eating to a minimal or at least make friends with the Dollar Menu. We can buy some bread, ham and cheese and eat at the room....also take advantage of the Hotel Buffet.
Gamble: Up to you on how much you want to take to lose, I say another $300

Total: $817.50

Now thats a lot of $ and it can get higher or lower depending on how we manage it or what we do. The main thing is the flight but I really think driving will be too much to handle plus it can also get expensive considering that we need a car (for 6), gas, hotel and food...all of that can easily make the drive $300 and 20 hours long (or two days).

Ok so we have over a month to save. If everyone is down I need to know so I can start putting money aside.
